👉The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), under Govt. of Karnataka, has released an extended notification following the announcement of a 21-days nationwide lockdown over the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, inviting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 1,279 vacancies to the post of Junior Assistants/Second Division Assistants (SDA) to be deployed in the RPC and Hyderabad Karnataka (HK) regions of Karnataka through direct recruitment.

The online application-cum-registration process towards the same started on March 9, 2020 and closes on April 39, 2020 with May 2, 2020 as the last date for paying the application fee.

👉Age and application fee:

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Junior Assistants/SDA through KPSC Recruitment 2020 must have attained 18 years of age April 9, 2020 and not be more than 35 years (Gen/UR), with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B) and 5 years for (SC/ST and Cat I) respectively as specified in the notifications.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 600 + 35 (Gen/UR), Rs. 300 + 35 OBC (2A/2B/3A & 3B) and Rs. 50 + 35 (Ex-Servicemen) as examination-cum-application processing fee through online mode or any other mode as mentioned in the notification on or before May 2, 2020. SC/ST/Cat-I candidates are required to pay application processing fee of Rs. 35 only as mentioned in the notification.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistants/SDA through KPSC Recruitment 2020 must have passed Class 12/HSC/Intermediate or equivalent with ITI from National Institute of Schooling; Diploma from a recognised University/Institute established by Law.

Candidates must (compulsorily) know Kannada language - read, write and speak.

👉Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Junior Assistants/SDA through KPSC Recruitment 2020 will be done in the following stages:

• Compulsory Kannada Language Exam and

• General Kannada/General English

• General Knowledge

Candidates shortlisted as Junior Assistants/SDA through KPSC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 21,400 to Rs. 42,000 per month.
